Mon, October 25, 2004 - 2:40 PMMy GF was just there last week. She says it is incredible. You have to stay on the beach though because that is what the law allows for. True it's Brando's island, but the first 20 feet of it are public property :-) -

Mon, October 25, 2004 - 3:20 PMi went to the island on a school program so we ended up sleeping in huts more than 20 feet from the water, but not too much farther off. there was also a little tiki bar there that i remember...drinking my first Hinano.... -

I went to a French high school here in SF, and since Tahiti is a French colony or something, it made sense for my class to do study abroad there. The program involved a lot of trips to other islands though. including Moorea and Tetaeroa. -
