No signup is necessary and all workshops are free - people are welcome to participate on a first-come, first-serve basis. A few of the workshops are music-oriented, so bring your own instrument and sing and play along! A final schedule will be available in the festival program, and you may also inquire at the Information Booth.


OHANA (FAMILY) KORNER

We are pleased bring back the Ohana Korner, a carnival-like area for families and their children (ages 2-12). There will be games and prizes for the keiki (kids) to win, a raffle, and arts and crafts.

Please note that your keiki must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The Sports Basement, located just 1/2 mile from the festival, is offering festival-goers 10% off all merchandise, so if you need a lawn chair, picnic blanket, sunglasses or hat to make your festival more enjoyable, pick up a coupon at the Information Booth. As a sponsor of the Aloha Festival, the Sports Basement is generously contributing 10% of this sales revenue back to the festival. The Sports Basement is located about two blocks from the festival, just a short walk from the stage.


NOTE TO VOLUNTEERS

We love our volunteers! If you have contacted us about volunteering, you should already have heard from either Aunty Marscha or Aunty Iris about the time, day, and place of assignment. All you need to do when you arrive at the festival is go to the volunteer check-in booth, located behind the beverage booth at the very top of the festival grounds, and sign in. Prompt arrival is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, send an email to info@pica-org.org and one of the aunties will be in touch.

Volunteers receive an Aloha Festival T-Shirt, lunch voucher, and coupon for 20% off your entire purchase at the Sports Basement during the festival weekend.

OUTRIGGER CANOE RACE

In conjunction with the Aloha Festival, He'e Nalu O Marin will be hosting the 11th annual Round the Rock Alcatraz Challenge Outrigger Canoe Race. Women, men and novice crews in six man outrigger canoes will face the challenging currents, winds and the beauty of the San Francisco Bay. Come join us for the racing, or to view the activities from the excellent vantage points of the nearby piers and breakwaters.
